Acadiana Christian Lions (New Iberia, LA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Mount Olive Christian (Athens, LA), 58-8 in a league battle.

With the win, Acadiana Christian improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Lions host Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool (Lake Charles, LA) to play the in a Christian Educators of Louisiana (8 Man) battle on Thursday, October 10. The go into the battle with a record of 6-2. Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool won 58-34 in their recent league battle against Northshore Vultures (Covington, LA)

The now have a 0-8 record. They play next when they host First Baptist Christian for a Christian Educators of Louisiana (8 Man) battle on Thursday, October 10. Mount Olive Christian will play a Eagles team coming off a 40-20 league loss to Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool (Lake Charles, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-7.
