The Belding Black Knights volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Kelloggsville Rockets to 0 in the Black Knights league triumph on Thursday.

The Black Knights now have a 5-16 record. They play next when they travel to Holland Christian for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 5. Belding will play a Maroons team coming off a 3-1 league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, MI). The Maroons record now stands at 12-8.

With the loss, Kelloggsville drops to 2-18 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Fruitport (Fruitport, MI) to play the Trojans in a Ottawa-Kent - Silver outing on Thursday, October 10. The Trojans come into the outing with a record of 22-9. Fruitport lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Cadillac (Cadillac, MI)
