Georgia High School Football - Tift County bounced by Lowndes

The Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) football trounced the visiting Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA), 35-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Vikings now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Camden County for a AAAAAA Region 1 outing on Friday, October 10. Lowndes will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 24-14 league loss to Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-2.

With the defeat, Tift County drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA) to clash with the Packers in a AAAAAA Region 1 game on Friday, October 10. The Packers enter the game with a record of 5-2. Colquitt County won 18-17 in their recent league game against Valdosta (Valdosta, GA)
