The Brusly Panthers football squad scored 27 points and limited the visiting St. Michael Warriors to 24 in the Panthers league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Istrouma for a 4A District 6 test on Friday, November 7. Brusly will face a Indians team coming off a 58-12 league loss to Plaquemine (Plaquemine, LA). The Indians record now stands at 5-4.

The Warriors (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against McKinley (Baton Rouge, LA). The Panthers enter the 4A District 6 challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, McKinley was edged by West Feliciana (St. Francisville, LA), 49-0, in a league challenge.
