Texas High School Football - MacArthur crushed by Smithson Valley

October 30, 2025: San Antonio, TX 78217

Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host MacArthur Brahmas (San Antonio, TX), 56-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Smithson Valley advances its record to 8-1 on the season. The Rangers host Victoria East (Victoria, TX) to confront the Titans in a 5A-1 Region IV District 13 match on Thursday, November 6. The Titans come into the match with a record of 1-8. Victoria East lost 53-19 in their recent league game against Pieper (San Antonio, TX)

The Brahmas (0-9) will now prepare for their game against Seguin (Seguin, TX). The Matadors enter the 5A-1 Region IV District 13 game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Seguin was trounced by New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX), 49-0, in a league game.
