The Pioneers now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to John Adams for a non-league test on Friday, October 13. Newtown will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Flushing (Flushing, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Hillcrest drops to 2-3 on the season. The Hawks host Cardozo (Bayside, NY) to meet the Judges in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 10. The Judges come into the test with a record of 4-0. Cardozo won 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Forest Hills (Forest Hills, NY)
