The Cypress Springs Panthers football squad scored 49 points and limited the host Bridgeland Bears to 48 in the Panthers league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Langham Creek for a 6A Region II District 16 test on Thursday, October 9. Cypress Springs will meet a Lobos squad coming off a 28-19 league win over Cypress Woods (Cypress, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Bridgeland drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Cypress Park (Cypress, TX) to meet the Tigers in a 6A Region II District 16 challenge on Friday, October 10. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Cypress Park lost 84-14 in their recent league challenge against Cypress Ranch (Houston, TX)
