In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting La Salle Academy Rams soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 win over the East Providence Townies.

The Rams (7-0) will now prepare for their outing against Barrington (Barrington, RI). The Eagles enter the non-league outing with a 2-1 record.

In their next game, the Townies clash with the South Kingstown Rebels (Wakefield, RI) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, October 7. East Providence will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Rebels come into the test with a 2-4 record after their 0-0 non-league Moses Brown (Providence, RI).
