In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Carencro Bears volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hamilton Christian Warriors.

The Bears (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Lafayette (Lafayette, LA). The Lions come into the Division I District 3 challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last challenge, Lafayette lost by Barbe (Lake Charles, LA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Academy of the Sacred Heart Saints (Grand Coteau, LA) in a Division V District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Hamilton Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Academy of the Sacred Heart (New Orleans, LA).
