Alabama High School Football - Hoover smashes Oak Mountain

The Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) football routed the visiting Oak Mountain Eagles (Birmingham, AL), 62-14 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Buccaneers face the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats (Northport, AL) in a 7A Region 3 bout, on Friday, October 13. Hoover will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 4-2 record after their 35-14 league loss to Spain Park (Hoover, AL).

The Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against Thompson (Alabaster, AL). The Warriors enter the 7A Region 3 bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Thompson walloped Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL), 40-14, in a league bout.
