Arizona High School Football - La Joya Community knocks off Sierra Linda

The La Joya Community Fighting Lobos football squad scored 36 points and limited the visiting Sierra Linda Bulldogs to 22 in the Fighting Lobos league win on Friday.

The Fighting Lobos now possess a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Gila Ridge for a 4A Southwest battle on Friday, October 20.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs play the Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ) in a 4A Southwest battle, on Thursday, October 19. Sierra Linda will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Patriots go into the battle with a 5-2 record after their 40-21 league win over Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ).
