The Jewell Bluejays football team (Seaside, OR), was beaten 59-35 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Falls City/Kings Valley Charter Mountaineers (Falls City, OR)
The Mountaineers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Myrtle Point (Myrtle Point, OR). The Bobcats come into the 1A Special District 1 - North (8 Man) challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Myrtle Point achieved victory over Perrydale (Amity, OR), 50-6, in a league challenge.
The Bluejays now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eddyville for a 1A Special District 2 - North (6 Man) challenge on Friday, October 14. Jewell will meet a Eagles team coming off a 39-6 league win over Crow (Eugene, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
