The Mt. Vernon Wildcats football team (Mt. Vernon, IN), was beaten 28-13 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host North Posey Vikings (Poseyville, IN)
The Vikings (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Pike Central (Petersburg, IN). The Chargers come into the Pocket - Small School challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Pike Central achieved victory over Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN), 26-14, in a league challenge.
