The Bears (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Big Valley Christian (Modesto, CA). The Lions come into the outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Big Valley Christian was nudged by Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA), 2-1, in a league outing.

With the loss, Riverbank drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Linden (Linden, CA) to play the Lions in a game on Thursday, October 9. The Lions go into the game with a record of 11-5. Linden won 2-0 in their recent league game against Calaveras (San Andreas, CA)
