New Mexico High School Volleyball - Chaparral can't hold off Valencia

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Valencia Jaguars volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Chaparral Lobos.
The Jaguars (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Sartans come into the non-league battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, St. Pius X was edged by Grants (Grants, NM), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Lobos encounter the Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, October 18. Chaparral will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
