In Wednesday's non-league match, the West St. John Rams (Edgard, LA) volleyball squad tipped the host Jefferson RISE Charter (Harvey, LA), by a count of 3-2.

In their next game, the Rams encounter the Crescent City Christian Pioneers (Metairie, LA) in a Division V District 8 battle, on Tuesday, October 14. West St. John will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Pioneers go into the battle with a 4-18 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Varnado (Angie, LA).

The now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Plaquemines for a District contest on Thursday, October 9. Jefferson RISE Charter will battle a Hurricanes team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to John Ehret (Marrero, LA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 8-5.
