California High School Flag Football - Whitney edged by Granite Bay

The Granite Bay Grizzlies got by the host Whitney Wildcats flag football team by a score of 14-13 in Thursday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Grizzlies face the St. Francis Troubadours (Sacramento, CA) in a Sierra Foothill League challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. Granite Bay will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Troubadours go into the challenge with a 17-5 record after their 26-7 league loss to Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA).

The Wildcats (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Davis Sr. (Davis, CA). The Blue Devils go into the Sierra Foothill League challenge with a 3-10 record. In their last challenge, Davis Sr. was edged by Rocklin (Rocklin, CA), 45-0, in a league challenge.
