The Churchill Lancers soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Springfield Millers to 0 in the Lancers league victory on Thursday.

The Lancers now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crater for a 5A Midwestern game on Saturday, October 11. Churchill will face a Comets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to North Eugene (Eugene, OR). The Comets record now stands at 5-4.

The Millers (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Ashland (Ashland, OR). The Grizzlies go into the 5A Midwestern bout with a 5-5 record. In their last bout, Ashland got by Eagle Point (Eagle Point, OR), 3-0, in a league bout.
