The William Byrd Terriers walloped the visiting Northside Vikings football team by a score of 40-8 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Terriers face the Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 16. William Byrd will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Colonels enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 14-6 non-league loss to Staunton River (Moneta, VA).
The Vikings (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Franklin County was ripped by Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA), 16-13, in a non-league challenge.
