In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Abby Kelley Foster Bears volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the South Lancaster Academy Crusaders.
The Bears (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Burncoat (Worcester, MA). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 12-3 record.
The Crusaders now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to University Park for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 14. South Lancaster Academy will play a team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Advanced Math & Science Academy (Marlborough, MA). The record now stands at 8-7.
