Texas High School Football - McCamey can't hold off Sterling City

Sterling City Eagles (Sterling City, TX) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host McCamey Badgers (McCamey, TX), 20-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Sterling City advances its record to 4-5 on the season. The Eagles host Iraan (Iraan, TX) to play the Braves in a 2A-2 Region I District 4 battle on Friday, November 8. The Braves go into the battle with a record of 8-1. Iraan won 61-0 in their recent league battle against Van Horn (Van Horn, TX)

The Badgers now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Eldorado for a 2A-2 Region I District 4 battle on Friday, November 8. McCamey will play a Eagles team coming off a 55-0 league loss to Wink (Wink, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 4-5.
