The Thoreau Hawks volleyball team (Thoreau, NM), went down 3-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes (Albuquerque, NM)
The Coyotes (10-14) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM). The Horsemen come into the non-league challenge with a 22-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Michael's defeated Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Hawks encounter the Ruidoso Warriors (Ruidoso, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 10. Thoreau will attempt to move on its 17-8 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 3-2 league loss to Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM).
