The King Brahmas (Kingsville, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Edison Golden Bears (San Antonio, TX), 29-26 in Friday's non-league test.

The Brahmas (4-2) will now prepare for their test against New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX). The Unicorns go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, New Braunfels got by Hidalgo (Hidalgo, TX), 55-20, in a non-league test.

The Golden Bears now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host San Antonio Memorial for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 14. Edison will encounter a Minutemen squad coming off a 34-21 non-league loss to Jefferson (San Antonio, TX). The Minutemen record now stands at 0-6.
