Westwood Baptist Academy Eagles (Poplar Bluff, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Heritage Classical Christian Academy Hawks (Fenton, MO), 41-18 in a league bout.

With the win, Westwood Baptist Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Providence Classical Christian Academy (St. Louis, MO) to play the Panthers in a Metro bout on Tuesday, November 15. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Providence Classical Christian Academy won 28-15 in their recent league bout against Thomas Jefferson School (St. Louis, MO)

Next up, the Hawks play the Mississippi Valley Christian Warriors (Alton, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 14. Heritage Classical Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 52-21 league win over Eagle Ridge Christian (Cape Girardeau, MO).
