In Saturday's non-league bout, the Wachusett Regional Mountaineers (Holden, MA) football squad defeated the visiting Shepherd Hill Regional Rams (Dudley, MA), by a tally of 34-12.
In their next game, the Mountaineers face the Shrewsbury Colonials (Shrewsbury, MA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 17. Wachusett Regional will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record.
The Rams (7-1) will now prepare for their bout against Tantasqua Regional (Fiskdale, MA). The Warriors come into the non-league test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Tantasqua Regional notched a victory over Algonquin Regional (Northborough, MA), 48-6, in a non-league test.
