Luella Lions (Luella, GA) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Locust Grove Wildcats (Locust Grove, GA), 54-37 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Luella advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Lions travel to Hampton (Hampton, GA) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Saturday, November 16. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 0-1. Hampton lost 45-23 in their recent non-league match against South Cobb (Austell, GA)

The Wildcats now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Andrew's for a non-league match on Saturday, November 16.
