Georgia High School Basketball - Towns County crushes Taliaferro County

Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Taliaferro County JAGUARS (Crawfordville, GA), 71-22 in a league bout.

With the victory, Towns County upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Indians host Highlands (Highlands, NC) to play the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 15. The Highlanders come into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The JAGUARS (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Georgia School for Innovation & Classics (Hephzibah, GA). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Georgia School for Innovation & Classics was overwhelmed by Taliaferro County (Crawfordville, GA), 55-49, in a non-league battle.
