The Porter Cowboys basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting IDEA Riverview Rockets to 15 in the Cowboys non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cowboys now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Progreso for a non-league contest on Friday, November 17. Porter will battle a Red Ants team coming off a 55-38 non-league loss to Zapata (Zapata, TX). The Red Ants record now stands at 2-2.
The Rockets (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX). The Bobcats enter the 3A Region IV District 32 contest with a 1-1 record.
