The Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX) basketball were winner over the visiting Caney Creek Panthers (Conroe, TX), 47-32 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Harker Heights for a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 19. Georgetown will play a Knights squad coming off a 54-41 non-league win over East Central (San Antonio, TX). The Knights record now stands at 2-1.
The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Magnolia West (Magnolia, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Magnolia West was knocked off by Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX), 70-21, in a non-league test.
