The Avenal Buccaneers basketball team scored 31 points and restricted the visiting Riverdale Cowboys to 26 in the Buccaneers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Buccaneers now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coalinga for a non-league contest on Friday, November 17. Avenal will battle a Horned Toads team coming off a 55-15 non-league win over Kings Christian (Lemoore, CA). The Horned Toads record now stands at 2-0.
The Cowboys (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kings Christian (Lemoore, CA). The Crusaders come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Kings Christian was nudged by Coalinga (Coalinga, CA), 55-15, in a non-league contest.
