New Home Leopards (New Home, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX), 64-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, New Home upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Leopards travel to Nolan Catholic (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 17. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Nolan Catholic won 62-34 in their recent non-league bout against Episcopal School of Dallas (Dallas, TX)

Next up, the Bearcats play the Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees (Stephenville, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 21. Aledo will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Yellow Jackets/Honeybees go into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 34-27 non-league win over Martins Mill (Ben Wheeler, TX).
