Coronado Mustangs (Lubbock, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Hereford Whitefaces (Hereford, TX), 71-56 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Coronado upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Odessa (Odessa, TX) to play the Bronchos in a non-league bout on Monday, November 21. The Bronchos come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Odessa lost 67-61 in their recent non-league bout against Greenwood (Midland, TX)

Next up, the Whitefaces play the Shallowater Mustangs (Shallowater, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 21. Hereford will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
