In Friday's non-league outing, the Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA), by a margin of 47-23.
The Dragons (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA). The Raiders go into the non-league outing with a 0-0 record.
The Warriors now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Coosa for a non-league outing on Saturday, November 19. Gordon Central will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 45-36 non-league loss to North Murray (Chatsworth, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
