In Saturday's non-league outing, the Harlingen South Hawks (Harlingen, TX) basketball squad felled the visiting Rio Grande City Rattlers (Rio Grande City, TX), by a margin of 73-53.
The Hawks (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial thwarted Taft (San Antonio, TX), 66-36, in a non-league outing.
