With the victory, Deer Creek-Mackinaw upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Olympia (Stanford, IL) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 3-1.

Next up, the Hornets play the Peoria Notre Dame Irish (Peoria, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 27. Eureka will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Irish come into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 69-61 non-league win over Morton (Morton, IL).
