The Marengo Indians basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting Belvidere North Blue Thunder to 25 in the Indians non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Indians now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sycamore for a non-league outing on Friday, November 21. Marengo will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 55-51 non-league loss to Central (Burlington, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.

The Blue Thunder (0-1) will now prepare for their outing against St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL). The North Stars enter the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, St. Charles North ran past Marengo (Marengo, IL), 60-28, in a non-league outing.
