The Cape Hatteras Hurricanes basketball team (Buxton, NC), was overwhelmed 62-28 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC)

The Knights now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Perquimans for a non-league battle on Friday, December 1.

The Hurricanes (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Manteo (Manteo, NC). The Redskins come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
