North Carolina High School Football - Mitchell prevails Mountain Island Charter

November 21, 2025: Bakersville, NC 28705

In Friday's non-league match, the host Mitchell Mountaineers football squad scored a good 28-15 triumph over the Mountain Island Charter Raptors.

The Mountaineers (9-4) will now prepare for their match against Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Rams go into the non-league battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, Starmount prevailed over South Stanly (Norwood, NC), 35-0, in a non-league battle.

The Raptors now have a 7-6 record.
