The Newton (Home School) Mustangs nipped the visiting Flint Hills Christian Warriors basketball squad by a tally of 37-33 in Friday's league game.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Chanute Christian for a Kansas Christian A game on Tuesday, November 25. Newton (Home School) will confront a team coming off a 59-8 non-league loss to El Dorado Christian (El Dorado Springs, MO). The record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Flint Hills Christian moves to 0-1 on the season. The Warriors host Onaga (Onaga, KS) to clash with the Buffaloes in a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 9. The Buffaloes come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
