The Rio Grande City Rattlers basketball squad (Rio Grande City, TX), was outscored 47-27 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host McAllen Memorial Mustangs (McAllen, TX)

The Mustangs (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North (Pharr, TX). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North prevailed over Mercedes (Mercedes, TX), 82-6, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rattlers encounter the Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 21. Rio Grande City will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Sabercats enter the battle with a 8-1 record after their 50-42 non-league win over Alice (Alice, TX).
