In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting McNeil Mavericks basketball team scored a tight 41-37 triumph over the Georgetown Eagles.
In their next game, the Mavericks meet the Stony Point Tigers (Round Rock, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 25 match, on Tuesday, December 6. McNeil will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record.
With the defeat, Georgetown moves to 3-6 on the year. The Eagles host Copperas Cove (Copperas Cove, TX) to meet the Bulldawgs in a non-league match on Saturday, November 26. The Bulldawgs enter the match with a record of 5-5. Copperas Cove won 40-31 in their recent non-league match against Johnson (Buda, TX)
