Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host East Union Lancers (Manteca, CA), 44-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ripon upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Indians travel to Downey (Modesto, CA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Lancers clash with the Jesuit Marauders (Carmichael, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. East Union will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Marauders go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 58-50 non-league loss to Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA).
