In Friday's league contest, the visiting Buffalo Island Central Mustangs basketball team scored a good 51-42 triumph over the Marmaduke Greyhounds.

The Mustangs (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mammoth Spring (Mammoth Spring, AR). The Bears go into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Mammoth Spring was topped by Cave City (Cave City, AR), 69-53, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Greyhounds meet the Riverside Rebels (Lake City, AR) in a 2A Region 3 battle, on Tuesday, December 3. Marmaduke will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Rebels enter the battle with a 10-0 record after their 76-65 league win over Bay (Bay, AR).
