Cardinal Ritter College Prep Lions (St. Louis, MO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Fremd Vikings (Palatine, IL), 53-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cardinal Ritter College Prep upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lions travel to East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL) to clash with the Flyers in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Flyers go into the bout with a record of 3-4. East St. Louis lost 75-18 in their recent non-league bout against Lincoln (Lincoln, IL)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Fremd will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 49-41 non-league win over Carmel (Mundelein, IL).
