The East Marshall Mustangs basketball team scored 38 points and limited the visiting Colo-NESCO Royals to 19 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Monday.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Colfax-Mingo for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 26. East Marshall will play a Tigerhawks team coming off a 37-32 non-league loss to Martensdale-St. Mary's (Martensdale, IA). The Tigerhawks record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Colo-NESCO falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Royals travel to North Tama (Traer, IA) to play the Red Hawks in a Iowa Star game on Tuesday, December 3. The Red Hawks go into the game with a record of 0-0.
