The Chesnee Eagles basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Thornwell Saints to 14 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Broome for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 2. Chesnee will confront a Centurions team coming off a 61-34 non-league loss to River Bluff (Lexington, SC). The Centurions record now stands at 1-1.

The Saints (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Dixie (Due West, SC). The Hornets enter the A Region 1 outing with a 0-0 record.
