Indiana High School Basketball - New Castle crushes Blue River Valley

November 26, 2024: New Castle, IN 47362

The New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN) basketball crushed the visiting Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN), 74-35 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Marion for a non-league bout on Saturday, November 30. New Castle will play a Giants team coming off a 68-49 non-league win over Mississinewa (Gas City, IN). The Giants record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Blue River Valley falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Shenandoah (Middletown, IN) to play the Raiders in a Mid-Eastern bout on Saturday, November 30. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Shenandoah won 60-33 in their recent league bout against Daleville (Daleville, IN)
