In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Maricopa Rams (Maricopa, AZ) basketball team edged the host Sunnyside Blue Devils (Tucson, AZ), by a tally of 67-61.
The Rams now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sahuaro for a non-league bout on Friday, November 28. Maricopa will play a Cougars team coming off a 78-57 non-league win over Sabino (Tucson, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.
The Blue Devils (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Sabino (Tucson, AZ). The Sabercats come into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Sabino was nipped by Sahuaro (Tucson, AZ), 78-57, in a non-league test.
