The Tupelo Golden Wave basketball team (Tupelo, MS), was toppled 61-47 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS)
The Jaguars now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oxford for a 7A Region 1 battle on Thursday, November 30. DeSoto Central will confront a Chargers team coming off a 74-58 non-league win over Alcorn Central (Glen, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 4-2.
The Golden Wave (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against West Point (West Point, MS). The Green Wave come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record.
