The Hillbrook Bears (San Jose, CA) basketball nipped the host Mid-Peninsula Dragons (Menlo Park, CA), 20-18 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their test against DCP Alum Rock (San Jose, CA). The Lobos go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, DCP Alum Rock was tipped by Harbor (Santa Cruz, CA), 38-28, in a non-league test.
